The designer YK was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She studied at Otis (LA) and Parsons (NY). Her collections are produced and made in Seoul, South Korea.

Human Potential aka HUPOT is a fashion brand founded by DO and YK in 2008. Unique print designs first gained attention for the brand. Their collection has been donned by K-pop stars BIG BANG, 2NE1, SHINee, to US Hip-Hop trendsetters like Big Sean, A$AP Rocky and etc. Their main focus in production is quality before quantity. HUPOT started to export worldwide from 2011. From Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, London, and to the USA.

The meaning of Human Potential is to express that the potential of humans are unlimited and everyone can achieve their dreams.
